About Laura Ladusans

Laura graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2008 with a BArch and fully qualified as an architect in 2014 following a turbulent recession and the recovery of the construction industry. After working for a leading healthcare architectural practice for 2 years, she turned her attention to residential projects and developing full turn key packages. For the next 4 years Laura split her time between architectural work and managing building sites, acquiring invaluable knowledge of residential construction from concept to completion. In 2018 Laura established Future 3 Architecture focusing predominantly on architectural projects and working alongside builders from across Merseyside.

Not only does she have a woman’s perspective on design and sound construction knowledge, she can also draw on her experience of being a working mum of 3 boys requiring an efficient home that can adapt as her family grows up.

Over the past 10 years, Laura has extended and refurbished 3 of her own properties, being client architect and builder. This has given her first hand experience of the stresses a client faces throughout their project but also an appreciation of the difficulties faced by the builder. Being hands on with construction has helped Laura gain an understanding of how buildings work and the involvement required for each task. This knowledge can be passed on to clients and used to provide reassurance on cost implications for proposed designs and predicted time frames.

Laura prides herself on being an architect with a difference. When she is not designing or on mum duties, she can be found kitesurfing, climbing, mountaineering, snowboarding or skateboarding.
